How do i get Insurance company to cover laser hair removal
I was just wondering how i could get my insurance company to cover laser hair removal? I have an HMO so im a little discouraged. If anyone can give me some advice on what steps need to be followed id really appreciate it. Thanks!!

Wow. I was wondering the same thing. I know if its comestic surgery, you're insurance company want cover. All I can think off is that your doctor might have to right a letter to your insurance carrier. Letting them know that its affecting your quality of life. Thats the only thing I can think of.
Yeah... I have the feeling that most insurance companies would rather send you a razor... It's so annoying that we can't get much help with this... if you figure something out... let us know... it would be great to have such a thing covered.!

if your excess hair is causing depression of some sort, i believe that if you get a letter from a certified shrink outlining this, insurance may cover it..

Thats a good pt! If its affecting your quality of life, your doc can help you get your insurance to pay for it.
