Ive seen this new thing. Apparently you can do your own laser treatments at home. Its like $200. Has anyone tried this?

I'm fair skined and blonde ... majority of my facial hair is blonde so its not as bad as everyone else posting from what I can tell, but still drives me nuts ... I've thought about investing in laser but from what ya'll have said looks like I'll stick to my tweezers and hunting for the hair that stand out the most ... Thanks ladys!

I've been using Nair sensitive skin about every other week. It works alot better for me that anything else i've tried. ie, plucking, other creams. Plus, being on BCP has helped SOO much!

Has anyone seen the commercials for that "Tweeze"?? I thought about that, right now I just pluck the dark hairs and try to trim the long blonde ones with scissors...

So far just some tweezers and a little time have worked for me. Its frustrating, I am hoping it doesnt get any worse.

I've dealt with BLACK facial hairs for as long as I can remember. Of course they got worse after I took myself off BC, but laser isn't an option for me. I have too olive toned skin. I wax my lip and chin about once a week and I "trim" my sideburns. I also keep a pair of tweezers in my car because tweezing unwanted haiors is much easier in natural light. I am thinking about trying magic on my unwanted belly hair and back, but I am also in the market for an epilator. You can get a tub of wax at Sally's for around $6 and it lasts for quite a while. I just bought a new tub and it should last through 2009. I am a fan of the "brazilian style" because it smelss better and comes with a great pre waxing oil.

Good Luck!

I have it and it seems to only work on the finer facial hair. The dark coarse hairs will still need to be tweezed individually. For instance, when I use the Tweeze on my upper lip I still need to manually remove the several thicker hairs it leaves behind. Overall I like it - cuts the time on my morning routine by a little. Not a miracle machine though, sorry!

Oh, and its pretty loud. No stealth hair removal here!

Thank you for the reply! Okay, I think I will save my money then. I only really want something for my "black" hairs... I don't have many, so I'll stick with my tweezer.

Laser is so worth it. By no means do I have a lot of money, but I make sure I have enough for laser.

I really think I would like to look into laser hair removal. If my PCOS is not under control though, will the hair grow right back. I am tired of being paranoid about the black hair growing on my face. I use nair sensitive and pluck, but it does get monotonous, plus I also get the infected hair cuticles.
