You go into your User CP and it shows a list of your kharma with the comments. If you just want to see how much you have you can click on the little scales at the bottom left hand side of your post (in the profile section).
LaurANN why do you have several little green boxes and I don't? I went to my CPuser and it says I have 76pts. My question is what do you do with thos points I am so lost!!!

Chula, I believe you get your 2nd little green box when you hit 100 reputation points, 3rd little green box when you hit 200 reputation points, etc. You shold get a 2nd green box when you have received 100 reputation points.
If you move our cursor over the green boxes, you will see a saying pop up. Those sayings change at 50, 150, 250, etc.
The only thing you can do with reputation points is to enjoy them! They're just compliments from fellow cysters. Be sure the read their comments! You can do that by going into USER CP and scrolling down a bit. Below the Gifts and Subscribed threads, you'll see a box that says "Latest Reputation Received". Enjoy reading those comments!
Now, the points you can use are actually different from reputation points, and they're called gift points. To see how many gift points you currently have, you can choose BANK from the Ribbons & Gifts drop-down menu. There you can purchase ribbons for yourself or buy a gift for a fellow cyster.

The only thing listed on mine is "latest reputation recieved" and who it was from and what thread, it doesn't let me see what was said... =-(

It should let you see what was said in the 5 most recent reputation received. Try hitting the little drop down arrow in the corner of the box (right hand upper corner) This is where your points are shown too! HTH

Actually, I took a closer look and it was you that sent it to me! (and thanks for the little light yesterday!) I realized that column isn't the sender but the comments. I get it now, just a little slow is all.... Thanks for sticking with me these past couple of days!

also sometimes people don't leave a comment at all. that has happened to me a few times.
