I am thinking of trying to keep check of my temps for next months cycle but i am not too sure where to start with it all. Do i need a special chart or thermometer??? any input would be of help!

Boots do a 'temping' kit for about £12-14. I haven't tried it myself as I'm being monitored.
It comes with a thermometer, instructions and a diary IIRC.
There's also loads of sites that will chart your temps for you - have a look at some of the temping posts in TTC.

The best book on the subject is called taking charge of your fertility. It tells you everything you need to know on the subject. Amazon sell, but it isn't the cheapest book as it's a us import but it well worth it.
