Default How do you handle the meds?

For the past 6 mos or more my stomach has been very unhappy. The only thing anybody can come up with is because of the Glumetza. I'm not sure one way or the other, I just want a way to deal with it. I like to take it because it helps with so many of my symptoms. The doc does not seem to think anythinng is wrong.

Is there any miracle cure for nausea? I have done the regular stuff like pepto, ginger. I don't know what else there is. Please help

Have you changed your eating habits? I try to follow a low carb/low fat diet but I have a few slip ups here and there and experience the s/e.

You can also look for help on the Metformin board and the PCOS Friendly Recipes board.

Sorry to hear of your stomach woes. I am on metformin and have suffered ever since the first pill hit my lips. I have forced myself up to the full dose of 4 per day, but still suffer after one year of taking them. Wish I had an answer for you, but I've not really found anything that helps me.
