exactly. Rear-entry (doggie style) works well too. You can use pillows under your belly and chest for support.

Well, I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who was going to ask what spooning was. My husband has suggested it, but I'd rather not if I don't have to yet. Still managing, but sex has just been getting more difficult as it seems that any pressure on my stomach hurts. Is that bad? So I've been less inclined lately, but I can tell he's been feeling neglected.

Pressure is going to be uncomfortable but he's not going to hurt the baby unless he just lays all of his weight right on you. You could also try missionary and just have him up on his knees.

Pressure is going to be uncomfortable but he's not going to hurt the baby unless he just lays all of his weight right on you. You could also try missionary and just have him up on his knees.
That's good to know. That is something I was a little concerned about.

I find being on top too painful on my hips and lower back, and am not a huge fan of doggy. What we do is I lie on my back on the bed, with my hips on the very edge. He stands on the floor in front of me, and that way we can still have sex (he usually holds my legs which he likes anyway). He can even lean over me and prop himself up with his elbows (sorta like missionary with him standing) and that way we can still be close but there is no pressure on my tummy.

That's a good idea! Hadn't thought of that!
I'm personally more preferable to missionary because I feel its more personal and intimate. So yeah this would be a great solution.

I personally am not a fan of spooning. I have had to stop missionary because he tends almost forget I'm pregnant and either lays more on me or starts to put his hands on my belly and I panic. So, I stay on my back but he is on his knees but up right and holds my legs up in the air...or pushes my legs apart and back. I didn't realize how flexible I was. But, it keeps any and all pressure away from the tummy. On top was fun...but not really that intimate. Doggy... is uncomfortable because he gets... well.. too excited and goes too fast and I can feel him hitting my cervix so he isn't allowed to do that til she's here.
