How do you know? So since I don't have insurance and the doctors in this area are non existent, I want to know how I can tell if I might have it?
I dismiss my hair growth because since I hit puberty I've had an abundance of it, even a lit before puberty.
Well I've always had painful irregular periods. I was wondering if the more I have irregular periods if I'm more likely to develop PCOS? I became regular with birth control pills, but since I was on them for over 6 years it took a toll on my health and it became a matter of having a stroke or heart attack for a regular period. So I'm worried because my last period lasted for 30 mins and went away. I then had my normal cramps, but I was nauseas, I normally never feel sick. I was light headed and dizzy. Eventually 4 days after I had my period again and it was strong and lasted for 7 days strong. My "normal" cycles only last for a day so this was strange to me. Not to mention my period was late, as usual. I've gone times where I don't have it for months. And when I do get it, it's as if I get all the cramps from the missed periods. I double over in pain.
I have a daughter, I had no problems getting pregnant. I had ultrasounds done and everything was normal, no cysts. As far as I know, but then again the place I went to isn't known for their thoroughness so I could've had one.
So now I don't know what to do. The nurses I work with told me to see a doctor asap, but I can't see one in that hospital because people there aren't that into what they are doing so I won't get the info or compassion I'm looking for. I have no insurance and in this area there are 2 places I can go to, I went there before when I was pregnant and was treated like crap. I was almost 3 months along before I was seen, and the woman that saw me was evil.
I need help! I applied for state insurance but never got anything back. My daughter got her insurance and I filled out our papers at the same time.
