Default How do you know if you are ovulating?

Ok, I not really new to this whole PCOS thing, but I have not really done anything about it until I had a stern talking from my specialist and my mother. But I still don't quite understand everything, so my question is how do you know if your ovulating? Will you automatically ovulate if you have your period?
I am sure I have been told but ever time I walk out of the dr office everything seems to have gone in one ear and out the other.
So can someone help me please?

well the number one clue is if you are having cycles. If you don't get some kind of regular period, even every 45 days, you are not. That is what makes you have a cycle, the ovulating. Don't feel bad if you aren't typically I have to take Provera every 5 months to force a period. I have lost some weight recently and started having periods again, I just hope that it keeps up.
There are lots of symptoms of ovulation, check this article out http://www.babyhopes.com/articles/ov...-symptoms.html
When I was trying to get pregnant I took my temp every morning and this told me if I was ovulating.
