CLOMID doest have good results with women with PCOS.... I tried to get preggo for 4 years... So 4 years later and no baby... My doc put me on FEMARA 2.5 mg CD 3-7 and I was preggo!!!
Lost 20lbs, cut out sugar, ate some raw foods, really learned about my cycle and signs of ovulation.

I LOVE Vitex! Though I think I could've gotten pg on just Met again, I didn't want to wait for my cycles to regulate, so I started Vitex and voila! Pg immediately! I hope you find what works for you!

After 6 months of trying, and asking my OB for meds (she said i didn't need any since my cycles ranged from 35-40 days after stopping the BCP, although I was already dx with PCOS for several yrs and she would not do a hormone checkup, although I knew my testostrone was rising) since I was already DX w PCOS, started on a low carb diet (ate lots of salad, beef patties, whole wheat cereal and bread (moderation), fruits, milk yogurt(probiotics)), had eliminated white sugar, took lots of prenatals, fish oil, flax oil, fertility tea, exercised vigorously on the treadmill and elliptical (600 cal a day 5*a week) despite back problems and pelvic misalignments - probably lost 2 pounds in 4 months (had lost 25 lbs previous yr with less effort on the BCP), quit my stressful job, took a vacation to the florida keys, used pre-seed but realized that didn't need any when reached peak fertility, used lot of ovulation kits, used a pillow for elevation during this time, took cinnamon to reduce testostrone levels, occassionally drank aloe vera and apple cider vinegar for stomach problems. Made an appointment with an endo (had to wait 3 mos for the appt.) and was pregnant and dx with subclinical hypothyroid (missed by my OB for a year) when i finally saw her.
Mentally, I always envisioned myself holding and caring for a baby. I always thought it would happen, but i just didn't know how long it would take.

I forgot to mention, that the cycle that I did become pregnant, i had massaged warm castor oil externally on the ovaries (below the belly button) every night and covered it overnight after my period until I suspected ovulation (CD 6-14).
clomid, cd 3-10 (which is longer than most), ovidreal trigger and IUI. I suspect trigger and a recent HSG were the turning points for this cycle.
With all the extra scans I've had this time around, they've been mentioning a tilted uterus which was news to me.
I did not have IUI or trigger with my DS, but I was 5 years younger (I am 39 almost 40). Before adopting my daughter, we did try without success, and an HSG did not help nor reveal anything unusual.

DH and I had been married 9 years and we figured we weren't meant to have children. I went to Weight Watchers for me because I was unhappy with the way I looked and started working out. In a year's time, I lost 75 lbs and got pregnant with no medications whatsoever. It was a suprise!

Stopped seeing fertility specialist and started seeing a homeopathic doctor! W/i 3 months I was pregnant. The fertility specialists could not even get me to ovulate!

It might sound far fetched too, but spend a day with a pregnant woman!!!! I guess that is some old wives tale. I had heard it before but never gave it any real thought. Well, I spent all Christmas Day with my cousin who was 8 1/2 months pregnant. I ovulated on December 27th and got pregnant! So it didn't hurt!! If i ever want to get pregnant again Im going to be hanging out with every pregnant woman I can find the week Im ovulating *lol*

On a break cycle from Clomid due to a big fat ovarian cyst. The only thing I was taking that month was 1000 mg metformin/day. I was also using evening primrose oil to help with the CM.
