My Mood: Points: 554.67 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 554.67 | How to know Hi all! I am new to the site. I was checking things out ad saw this board. Can you tell me how I would know if I had hypothyroidism other than just from lab results? Are there any signs/symptoms that I would notice?
Thank you! |

Thank you! | I just keep continuing to get fatter and fatter and nothing is helping. I'm on Synthroid, and am all but starving myself, and am continuing to get fat.

Points: 742.30 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 742.30 | I was diagnosed by my gynecologist and my tsh was at 28. The symptoms I had happened so gradually over so many years so I basically felt symptomless. Until I was treated of course, the changes were so drastic! My hair and skin looked and felt better, my face wasn't swollen anymore, but mainly the constant fatigue and depression was gone! If you ever suspect you have a thyroid issue, get tested! It's a simple blood test that can explain away a ton of symptoms! |
