I need some helps from any of my cyster friends, How long after taking provera did Af showed up? I have taken 5days of 10mg provera which ended on sunday and up till today still no AF. I really worried becuz it been a long time since i have a long cycle and i know im not pg so pls tell me sometime so that i can get worrying, also im thinking of going on bcp to give my ovaries a break but af is not here so that again adds up to my stress.

Both times I took Provera to induce AF, I started 3 days after the last dose. I also did the 5 days x 10 mg dosage, which is maybe why it came so quickly--other women say 7-10 days after the last pill when they've taken 10 days x 5 mg.

So Sunday was your last dose, then maybe Wednesday or so you should have spotting at least? It could be longer, which is normal! But after 10 days, if AF does not arrive, call the doctor.
