Did it take for you to ovulate being on clomid and metformin???? I have had my period induced 2 and I have been on my first round of clomid. I was told that I didn't ovulate this time. So i was just wondering how long did it take y'all to ovualte with clomid. Should I suggest taking hCg shots too??

some people say that it takes around 3-4 rounds of it to kick in well! im on my forst cycle and having follie trackin a week today - so ill have ann idea then xx

I had a week ovulation the first time and a strong one the second time, so I think you will probably have better luck the second time. How much are you taking? A lot of people don't ovulate on 50 mgs.
Are they doing u/s to monitor your follciles? An hcg shot would only be helpful if your follciles are developing on clomid. If you're not responding at all, the hcg wouldn't help.
And, to answer your actual question, I was ovulating on met but it was "weak" and late in my cycle. My first month on clomid I had good ovulation.

No my doctor hasn't done another u/s on me. I go to a military infertility doctor and he has been on TDY the last month or so. I go back on November 20th. I'm going to demand that he does the u/s.
