I had a D&C Jan 14th and now I feel like this first cycle is going to go on forever... no sign of ovulation yet. What was other people's experience the 1st cycle after?
Thanks,
KBug

I delivered at 24W5D, so I doubt this applies to you. I bled for 4 weeks, then there were six weeks until my next period. Since then (I started Met, too), I'm averaging 29 days.

I had a D&C on August 26th, o'd exactly 21 days afterwards (without any drugs at all!) and started AF 12 days after that, for a 35-day cycle. The cycle after that was also ovulatory and lasted 33 days. The 3rd cycle was also ovulatory and lasted 27 days.
Hope this is helpful.

I had a D&C on March 4, last year. I was 8-1/2 weeks along, but baby died somewhere about 6 weeks.
It took 6 weeks for me to get my first period. The next cycle it took ANOTHER 6 weeks for me to get a period. After that cycle, I went on met (halfway through) and I got a period at 28-30 days (I really can't remember days, just that it was normal).
I lost my baby at 20 weeks on 11/30/04...i had two and 1/2 weeks of bleeding and discharge after delivery (no d&c was performed).
29 days after i delivered my son, i got my period...i was shocked....the next one was 26 days after that. Around the time of supposed ovulation, i am getting this really thick and heavy clear mucus, no odor, but there is a ton of it. It's so bad that i have to wear a pad. I am in the middle of it right now...so i know my period is coming soon.

I've been wondering the same thing. I'm on CD 26 after my D&C on 1/21 and I'm still spotting. I'm ready to get this cycle over with so I can move on. It's frustrating.

I lost my baby 13th December 04 and bled for a week. I still have no AF. I have had period pain off and on over the last four or so weeks, but nothing! I am sick of it. I wish it would just show up and be over and done with. I feel like I'm going backwards!

After my D&C, I went right back to TTC. 35 days after having it I took Provera to bring on af, then CLomid, and o'ed on CD 17. I know that doesn't help any.
Well, I found out yesterday why there is no sign of AF yet - I did a HPT and it was positive!

Donna, that sounds like the same thing that happened to me!
I found out I was pg in Nov. 03', had D&C on Dec. 17th 03'. Had my 6wk follow up appt. on Jan. 28th and couldn't figure out why I hadn't gotten my period. My OB did a HPT and it was positive! Now I have a beautiful baby girl to prove it!
Kbug~ I hope you get a BFP soon! Best wishes!
