How long was it until you got your AF after D&C? I know they say 3 to 8 weeks but I'm tired of waiting. Just wondering what the norm is for you guys. I'm cramping like crazy waiting for AF.

So sorry about your loss. AF came for me 4 1/2 weeks after my D&C. I too got very crampy and impatient!! It will come though. Good luck.

Well she showed up on Saturday. (woohoo )
I'm not cramping very much or bleeding very heavily.... is this normal? Also it was black when it first started, then turned red, just like it did right after D&C. Anyone else have these experiences? I don't want to complain because I'm not cramping but but I usually need ibuprofin at this time. Any unput ladies?

I just want to say that I'm glad for you that she has shown up. I'm sure that a call to your doctor's nurses would reassure you tomorrow. That's what they are there for. I hope this cycle works out well for you.

AF showed up for me at 6W3D after my D&C and was a real easy one - I was expecting lots of cramps and a heavy flow, but it was lighter than usual. I hardly took any Ibuprofen and during a normal cycle I down them like candy!
