a friend of mine had a m/c on the 30/8... it would've been twins - one was in the womb and the other was ectopic and the baby and tube had to be removed... the dr told her that this is very rare...

but my (her) question is: how long after a m/c will u still get a positive hpt???

I had a D&C on 8/22 and my pregnancy test was still positive when I went for my follow-up 2 weeks later. I think that if you still have the HCG is your system 4-6 weeks later, they worry that there might still be some retained tissue that it making the hormone.
