How long after m/c for your HCG to go to Zero? Hi Ladies,
I had a d&c for a m/c on 3/28, and my last HCG about 5 days before the procedure was 12,000 (8.5 weeks). About a week after the d&c it dropped to about 1100, but ever since then it has been dropping really slow. Now, over 6 weeks later, it is still positive at 32. It took 10 days for my beta to go from 70 to 32. Isn't that a very slow drop for such a long period of time? I bled after the d&c for about 2 weeks, went on BCP and had an AF where I bled for nearly another week - very heavily at times. I can't imagine that there's anything left in there, and I know my pg was healthy because they did a pathology on the tissue and everything was normal. The nurse told me it can "just take awhile", but I personally don't trust the nurses. I would love to hear about any personal experiences with slow dropping betas, and if your doctors told you anything as to why it may happen this way. I was all set to start my FET next week, but my clinic said there's no way we can do ANYTHING until beta is zero. I'm just frustrated and sad about this never-ending miscarriage!
