If you had a D&C, how long afterwards did you bleed? Thanks a bunch!

Hi there, how have you been? I'm still bleeding from my d&c last thurs. It is on & off light bleeding that is heavier at night. i am also "leaking" from my breasts, which is not fun!! I am feeling emotionally much better. Hope this helps!

Hello Laurie!!! I've been doing good!! I was just wondering if I was the only one that is still bleeding a week later. I had my D&C last Wednesday, and like you, I'm spotting in the day and it's more heavy at night. I wonder when it will stop? I'm not much of a bleeder, but this is a L-O-N-G time for me! I got back to the doc for my post op check up Tuesday. Hopefully, it will be stopped by then. Hope to hear from you soon!!!

Sorry for your loss.
I bled for a week - really heavily, and was in lots of pain. I ended up having to have a second d&c a week after the first one to remove 'retained product'  After that, I only bled a few more days.

I bled for about a couple days, it would go away, then I would bleed for a day and then it would go away. I think a lot of different patterns are still considered normal.
