Default how long did your MC cramps last?

I passed everything I *Think* on saturday, but I am still feeling VERY crampy today. Also my boobs are still very sore today? Is that normal?? And I am still constipated also. My beta never got very high, only 255, so I guess I just thought this would be over with by now. I am calling my ob tomorrow if I am still feeling so crampy....

My early loss was with a similar beta, at only 5 weeks, 1 day... I think I was "out of sorts" for a few weeks, two with some light bleeding and one with just weird symptoms and maybe the occasional spot. It takes a while to get back to normal, so don't worry about it, but it doesn't hurt at all to call the doc with a question just to ease your mind.
Good luck healing, all of the different ways,
Sheri

My first m/c (at 6 weeks, first pregnancy) I only cramped for 24hrs - once I'd 'delivered' the sac the cramping stopped shortly after (an hour max). After having DD I think it takes longer for the uterus to go back to normal. During my last m/c I had bad, bad, bad cramping for 5 days, then more manageable cramping for another 3 or 4 days or so.

Hi Misty,
With m/c #1 I pretty much only cramped for 1 day..that was an early loss (about 6 weeks). With my 2nd m/c I was 9 weeks along and it was very painful. I started bleeding but the cramping and **loss** didn't happen until about 3 days into the bleeding and lasted for about 2 days. I had severe cramping for a couple of days and had a d&c two days after that.

It can take some time for pregnancy hormones to leave your body which is probably why you are still having so many symptoms (VERY CRUEL!!!). Sometimes some "tissue" (for want of a better term) can get left behind so if you aren't feeling better in a few days or you start to get temps get yourself checked out.

I'm so sorry you are still going through this and I hope the pain eases VERY soon.

Hugs,

Amy
