I had to take Provera in the beginning of April to induce AF as I had not had it in 9 months! AF visited April 16th and has not come again since then. Should I call my doctor and see if they will prescribe Provera again or should I wait longer? I've also been taking Metformin XR since beginning of April.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

Hi Stacie - I think I'd go ahead and contact your doc and let him/her know what's going on (or NOT going on in this case) ... you don't want this to go on forever!

Well, still no AF and I am miserable. I'm bloated and headachy and stiff and I have a dull ache in my left ovary area...and sometimes sharp cramps. I finally decided it was time for hpt... negative, of course... so I'm going to call the dr. tomorrow. Hopefully he will refill Provera for me. I'll let ya know....
All my symptoms sound like PMS and I was hoping I would start soon, but it's been going on for a couple weeks now and i'm sick of waiting.... This is worse than the 9 months I went without AF. My hormones are up to something... but what?

If you're trying for kids then I would refill the RX and start again. If you are not ttc, then most doctors want you to induce menses every three months to prevent Hyperplasia

I called the doctor's office today and they are calling in a refill on the Provera. I'll have to pick it up tomorrow (payday).
