I just started Met last wednesday and I will be doing it with the combo of clomid. I have done clomid 4 cycles not too long ago but my doc feels since I am inslin resistant that is why the clomid didn't work. We would most likely start trying once AF gets here which means I will do provera. So I was curious when does Met start working? Would it start working once I start clomid once a new cycle begins?

The s/e are killing me. Not so much of the tummy pains but I have really bad exhaustion.

Clomid didn't work for me many years ago either. I never had any response to 50 or 100 mg. I just started Metformin middle of August myself. So I guess we are at about the same place in our journey, except you have 1 child and my 9yo is adopted. My dr. told me it takes most women about 90 days to begin cycling on their own with Met, and that is about how many cycles it takes of Clomid before most ppl get PG. So let's hope we both get some Christmas BFPs!
