I had my m/c induced w/ the tablets on Friday instead of doing the D&C but now I am wondering how long it will take before I finally stop bleeding. On Saturday the Dr said the sac had passed and now it looked like just the lining. My appointment isn't til next friday almost 2 wks. Does anyone know the normal time frame?
Well my sac passed on cycle day 1 and if you click on that line down there from Fertility Friend it will show you how long I bled and how long I spotted this time. I think it was about a week of bleeding and 3-4 days of spotting.
If you have pain, a fever, or start bleeding more heavily than you have been.... you need to call your Dr right away.

TAC placed 6/28/07 at University of Chicago.
Moving on to IVF after a year of infertility and 3 Femara cycles. Lupron started on 7/27.
I had been told when I m/c that I would have what would be like a heavy period following, and should expect to bleed about a week. I waited to m/c naturally and finally had the m/c on 9/25. I bled heavy for the following 3 days and it has significantly slowed since then, but not really stopped either. Sometimes it's spotting, sometimes it gets heavier for a half hour or so, and then it slows again. Now that it's been almost 10 days, I don't know if this is still the m/c, or if my body is going back to it's "normal" state (some sort of spotting/bleeding every day unless on bcp or provera/clomid). Sorry I can't help much with the questions you need answered. I hope someone else can!

with ny early loss, i bled lightly for about two weeks. best wishes for a quick recovery.
