Points: 588.94 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 588.94 | How many clomid attempts are typical? I am coming up on my third try of Clomid and my doctor is saying we need to discuss next options if this attempt doesn't work. I had a biochemical pregnancy with the first attempt so I think it's working and want to try more attempts at Clomid if not successful this third time. How many attempts have others tried before moving on?? Thanks!! |

Good Luck!

My doctor was going to let me do one more round of Clomid before going on to injectibles but for personal reasons we switched to using alternative remedies to induce ovulation. I've seen some do 3 then go to injectibles, but then again I've seen some do 6 before going forward. Best of luck to you.

I finally went to see an RE who added Actos to the Met I was on. And I got PG on a BREAK!! Actos and Met made me O like Clomid never did.
(BTW we also had male factor issues, many doctors told us without IVF we wont get PG. My story shows there is always hope)
Sheri ... Thank you for the comment about my dd

Mine only gave me 2 without monitoring, and the final 3 we did at a fertility clinic with IUI's. It never ceases to amaze me how different doctors are and what they will or won't do.
