Hi!!
I am trying to regulate my cycle with soy and NPC. NPC makes me have AF, but soy definitely makes me ovulate. My question to you, knowlagable cysters, is this: how many cycles can you try soy for? We are not activity TTC right now, but everything is definetly better with my body when I take soy 5-9. So I don't know if I should continue using soy every month, or if I should "save" it for when we TTC.... Did it ever happen to anybody that soy used to work but stopped working after a while??
Also just wanted to mention that Vitex made things worse for me. Not much worse...but definitely did not help.
I am a thin cyster...
I am not really sure, but I am interested in when and how you used the NPC, I am planning to do it this cycle but not really sure when/how to start. Would love to hear what you have done!
Thanks!
I start NPC about a week before I would normally have AF and it arrives without failure. Sometimes earlier if I wait too long and I Oed that month. AF is awful when I O, I have to take painkillers every time!
I have written down to use NPC 3 dpo - 14 dpo. Not sure where I found this, but that is when I use it.

I am also a thin cyster and used soy to ovulate earlier in my cycle. I was ovulating cd 24-28 (thanks to acupuncture, chinese herbs and diet). The docs told me that this was to late in the cycle to conceive.
Soy CD 5-9 brought on ovulation on CD17ish and on CD 3-7 brought on ovulation on CD 13-14. After a few stable cycles (2 or 3), I stopped taking soy and I am still ovulating between CD 13-16.
I figure the soy just jump-started something in my body that is now working correctly. Everytime my body gets out of synch, I just "medicate" with soy and it seems to work.

I used the NPC and AF arrived on CD29!!!! So, now I am CD3 and would like to start my soy today. I have both the powder and the capsules. Which should I take? How many and when do I take it, morning or evening???????????????????????
