just what the title says, i wanted to start a poll because soo many ladies here ask this question and i thought it would be good to see a overview of what happens with us so folks could understand better when its normal and when to worry or ask doctors about things. This test allows you to select multiple answers so feel free to include multiple times you took it if the timelines are different

The first time I took Provera AF came 3 days after, then the 2nd time I took it, it started 6 days after, then the 3rd time it came 10 days after and then this last time it started 5 days after I think.

wow the provera cycle can be soo diferent from one month to the next.
First cycle ended a 101 day cycle just 4 days after i finished my last provera dose. AF was super super light and spotty and old blood
Second cycle ended a just 52 day cycle but a full 14 days after my last dose.
Af took a few days to ramp up but now is full flow and healthy dark red.
that was driving me crazy

it took me 16 days for AF to show up after my first and only round of Provera, I became PG the next cycle. I started to really think it hadn't worked at all.

I voted for a couple of different ones. Usually I start 7-10 days after my last pill, but I have started before I even finished Provera and once it took me 13 days. I guess it's pretty variable. I've noticed that when I use provera I often have a couple days of spotting before the heavy bleeding.
My period shows up about 5 days after taking the last pill. I am always excited to see the temperature shift caused by it, though it doesn't have anything to do with my ovulation. Without provera, my basal body temperature is just a stupid flat line.

thank you so much for the post.... i took provera once in 2006 and before I had even finished the last pill AF came & showed NO MERCY! this time around, i just finished 20 mg for 7 days on Wed. the 13th - today - started spotting i must admit i was starting to worry thinking it hadn't worked - but now i feel reassured AF is well on her way.
