Question How much B12?

I've been taking 1,000 mg. of B12 a day to make up for the B12 lost from the Met. Is that enough? Too much? I also take a prenatal vitamin.
Thanks!

I take a sublingual b complex which has an enormous amount of b12 in it. 1000 mg sounds good but the b12 malabsorption has a lot to do with calcium so a calcium supplement would be beneficial too.

It would be 1000mcg (micrograms), rather than mg. This amount is a good dose and usually enough. You can also drink cranberry juice which increases it's absorption, and it is often a good idea to take a B12 that also has folic acid in it.
