Default How Much Cinnamon Capsules?

I'm newly diagnosed and my blood work came back with high testosterone levels but my blood sugar came back normal. I've been taking Spiro for 5 months now with great success (no more hair loss and acne). However, I'm having all the symptoms of IR (sluggish, weigh gain, etc.). If I was TTC the doc would have put me on Met, but I'm not, so she wouldn't. So I want to try adding Cinnamon capsules to my routine.

Any suggestions on how much to start with? How should I take it, with a meal? Should I split up the dose (am and pm)? Is there a brand that I should look for that is better than others?

I'd love to know how cinnamon has helped others. I'm struggling badly with my energy level and I'm looking for anything that will help.

I would suggest starting with the basic dosage most of the packages recommend, which is 1000 mg. It's easy that way to take one in the morning and one at night (especially with a meal, since it's supposed to work with your glucose/insulin).
