Default How much did you buy your Fertility Monitors for?

DH bought me one a CBFM after I was talking about how I wanted one and now I want to sell it after trying it for one month...

The problem Is because i didn't buy it I have no idea how much they're selling for and the prices I can find online are from the UK so I don't know how much that is to here in AU. DH doesn't remember either. It's just been sitting in my cupboard for months now haha.

I've put it on ebay for $140 starting price with 45 test sticks but I don't want over or under price it?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this....

I sold mine for $50 on ebay. I had a few test sticks with it, but they were expired. I had the worst luck getting it sold.

i have seen most used with some sticks around $100.00 brand new it is $149-199.00. I would reset it before you sell it so the new user doesn't have any issues.

How do you reset the monitor? I think mine is defective. It never asks me for tests when it's supposed to and it's very frustrating.

If you google the manual, it will tell you how to reset it. I also reset mine before I sold it. Actually I gave it away.

I have the manual that came with it and it doesn't say anything about resetting it. In fact it says that you should never give your fertility monitor to anyone else because it contains your data and won't be accurate for them. Doesn't mention any way to clear your data. Guess they are just being greedy!!

But I googled around and found this

It appears to have worked. So hopefully this expensive thing will actually work this time (I bought it new).

I looked at the manual online and it was on p. 28 (reprogramming your monitor).

My hubby found the monitor on Ebay brand new for $85 and then the box of 30 test sticks for $25. Hope this helps.

I got mine for free from the college that I attend. They have a research study going on about couples dealing with infertility and they let me have the monitor, plus the sticks for free as long as I allow them to read my monitor at least once a month to check my progress. The woman that I deal with says that it is a nationwide study that is happening at most major universities. You ladies should spread the word to others that are in search of one. They should inquire at their closest university and see if they are participating in this research and might be able to get a free one, plus the sticks.
