just curious as to how much info you all share/plan to share with your family members/friends about your childs history.
are you glad you did shared what you did, would you change what you had said if you could?
i have been very brief about ds medical/social history with nearly everyone but my sister. i am happy with my decision thus far.

My parents are the only ones that know the our baby girls history. They met the birthparents. I get asked alot of questions regarding Mom and Dad. Even with my relatives I do not give the whole story. I am protecting my dd. I never want someone to come up to her in the future and say your Momma this or your Daddy was this. Children can be cruel (even som adults). I had a cousin that was adopted and never knew until one of the cousins said you are not my real cousin. Your Momma is in prison. She will know that truth of her birth from me and my dh. She does not need to be taunted about it from anyone.
