How much Mg's Of Metformin do you take?

I'm at 2000 mg's and I feel like I should have it increased. Does anyone take more then that?

I take the same amount but just started taking it in September but have not yet been faithful at taking it all the time! How long have you been on Metformin? Did it help you with weightloss?

I have been on 1000mgs for about 4 years on and off, I think your dosage is related to your weight. As i'm a thin cyster 1000mg is the max dose my gynae can/will pescribe me. I'm not sure my body could cope with anymore than i'm already taking!!!

I recently started taking Met and I take 1000mg a day.

im taking 1000mg a day its only been about 2 monts now but i feel great and i've lost almost 10lbs. thank god

I'm only on 500mg and I've had great results so far

I'm on 1700mg/day, and it's not really had any effect that I can tell - unless you include making me feel exhausted and an occasionally upset tummy.

I've asked my Gynae and now my RE if I should increase to see if it has any effect, but they were very certain they didn't want me going any higher. Not really sure why.
