Hey, I just bought some SP to try to help with the unruly facial hair, and was wondering how much, how often I should be taking it. The bottle says each one is 450mg. In addition to the DQ and the red rasp. leaf, I am taking Vit. E, mult. vit., and calcium. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm taking "Ultra Saw palmetto for men" (eek) which has 320 mg SP plus zinc and B6 (both of which help apparently -- I read somewhere that zinc is very important, as women with PCOS are often deficient in it and it can improve the symptoms, but I don;t know how reliable that was)).

I take one tablet in the morning and one in the evening.

I used to take cyproterone acetate (100 mg a day), and that's how I got rid of the facial hair originally. I stopped taking it (thinking about maybe starting a family) and very shortly afterward it seemed like the hair was already starting to come back. It may be too early to tell, but it seems like the slight worsening of facial hair has gone now. I also rub evening primrose oil on my face (the GLA has anti-androgen properties, so I'm told)
