Default How much should I take???

Okay, need help ladies....
Living here in Korea, not too many women with hair issues...so I want to get some Aldactone on line. I have been on it before and I think the dosage was really low like 25mg*2/day and I didn't have the patience to wait for it to work so I went on the pill. But now, I want to go off the pill (diane-35) just to give my body a break but I am petrified that all the hair will come back...yet again...electrolysis is Korea--not done! So I don't want to be stranded in Korea and hairy....So how much do you think I need to take. Believe me I won't hold anyone liable, I just want an estimate of what other women are taking and how much is effective. I have moderate hair on all the usual suspect areas..thanks for the advice ladies....

100mg 2X a day is supposed to be good for hair. I think that's the highest dose used in women.

HOWEVER be warned. :-) I was taking this dose a while back and had the problem of CONSTANT HEAVY vaginal bleeding. (At first I thought it was a period, and was happy... but after 3 weeks it got a little old and I went off the meds) A lot of women seem to have problems with aldactone and bleeding, so a lot have to take birth control pills with it. Another issue is you should NOT get pregnant on aldactone so if you are going off BCP and are sexually active you will need to use another method of birth control.

Meaning... you may not want to stop the BCP when you start aldactone.

Why are you taking a break from the pill?

Hello

I take 100 in the morning, and have seen my hair get some better.
