Question How much is too much?

My doc recently started me on Met. and started me at 2000 mgs! I worked myself up to the dosage and im not having any side effects, but everytime I read posts, you girls are all on lower doses! SHould I be concerned? And ... will I lose weight? Ive been on the 2000 for about a week.

HELP!

I'm on 2000mg and I know of quite a few women that are at the same dose or higher. This level has been great for me! As you can already guess, I don't think 2000mg is too high. As for losing weight, most women need to modify their eating in some way or another to lose weight. By getting the insulin under control, it tends to help with carb cravings. Good luck!
