I started Clomid in January - I took it for 3 cycles, only ovulating on the 2nd round (100 mg). I took a break for 1 cycle then did 2 cycles (both were 100 mg; I didn't ovulate on the 1st cycle but did on the 2nd cycle, again with 100 mg, but I had also been taking Prometrium). Last cycle I took a break and ovulated with the help of Prometrium CD 14-26 and I've been taking Metformin (2000 mg). I just started a new cycle (I'm on CD3) and am debating another cycle of Clomid.

How much is too much? I've heard about women where the Clomid stops doing its job and ovaries become over stimulated. The Prometrium seems to be helping and I started OPKs last cycle and it detected my LH surge. Part of me doesn't see the point in taking more Clomid...the other part of me is getting desperate and wants to do anything possible!!!
