Do you think I will have to lose to start seeing a difference in my IR blood work and my testosterone. I've been trying really hard to get all this weight off, I'm down 12 lbs...but I'm definitely gonna get off a lot more and wanted to know when my blood work should start seeing a difference? Thanks.

I read yesterday that losing 16% of your body weight causes a 100% improvement in insulin tolerance. 100% is a LOT! I'm sure you'll start seeing improvement much earlier than that. HTH!

Met 2000mg since 2001, started Glucophage XR 4/22/04, then switched to Met ER 6/04; also: multi, Vit. C, Vit. E, B12/folic acid combo, fish oil & borage oil combo, garlic capsules, cinnamon, Vitex, calcium with magnesium/zinc, biotin, CoQ10, selenium,iron
Other meds: Verapamil and Altace(for blood pressure)
