I had my last natural AF when I was 18 -- that was 19 years ago. I had my first one when I was 13. For a couple of years, I'd get it every 3 or 4 months. Then it was every 4 or 6 months. then once a year. Then it just stopped.

I voted for every month, cause since I got it under control it has. But, before then I only got it on BCPs and never got it without, unless I took Provera.

MyJourney- How did you regulate it? Was it with diet/excercise? or Met? Either way congrats to you...to go from never to every month is definetly encouraging for a lot of cysters on this board
I guess in my case I could say that I get it just about every month. It is anything but regular. Since I first started getting AF ive had problems with non stop bleeding and spotting, somtimes lasting upto a month. The only thing that seems to help is BCPs or natural progesterone cream.

I have a regular period, but then I took soy and now it is longer than it should be. My estrogen is happily going through the roof, but I'm getting everything under control with NPC.
Before I lost weight, from the time I started my first AF, I never had it, maybe once in a blue moon. Then as I got older I would take provera every 3 months to have it. I did that for about 4-5 years I think.
Then I lost 55 pounds and after the first 40 or so, I started my AF on my own. After that I have had it every month, about every 35 days or so. Give or take.

I voted for every month unless of course I take clomid then it can be a never ending cycle.

I don't really fit into the poll answers. Before I ever started BCPs it was normal all the time. With BCPs it was normal all the time. After I stopped them is when everything went wrong...very infrequent and then too frequent. So I don't know what to click, but there's my answer.
oh hey! Bo Bice! Woohoo
