Just wondering. I used to have to shave every day or even twice a day if I went out at night. I really think that since starting spiro the rate of my leg hair growth has slowed because now I'll still wear skirts on the day after a shave, although I won't DTD or anything that involves other people touching and feeling the prickliness (although maybe I just care less now, LOL)
But the other day I was telling my friend how pissed I was that a date was canceled (and rescheduled for the next night) because I "wasted all that time getting ready tonight" and she said "well, at least you won't have to shave again tomorrow, that's one thing off your list" but of course I DID have to shave again because things can get pretty ugly if I don't tend to them. My "bikini area" especially looks scary after more than a day. I can't decide if I'm some crazy quickly-growing-thick-hair freak, or what!

Every other day, usually...but I don't remember how often I had to when NOT pregnant. I get prickly, but not enough to warrant another go with the razor the next day. It's not noticeable. More than a couple of days is pushing it, though. Lately it's so hard to reach, I just let it go unless I have to go somewhere and my legs will be seen (not likely lol). Besides...the kids like rubbing my legs when they're prickly LOL.

In summer I shave them every day (because I don't like pricklies, every other day might do for noticeability), and every week in winter. I used to not shave at all in winter and just Nair them in the spring, but I looked like a cavewoman and my skin got all dry and nasty, so.
The met has helped me a lot that way. I used to have to shave every day if I didn't want people seeing hair on my legs, but now it's much finer and less noticeable.
When I was going to highschool, I went to a private school, and we had to wear skirts, so I got into the habit of shaving my legs every day. I have been out of school for 6 years and I still shave my legs every day.

Tara, you're not a freak, I think it's all a part of the PCOS, though it sounds like a lucky few seem to have slower growing hair. I used to have to shave my legs twice a day too if I wanted to avoid the 5 o'clock shadow on my legs. I hated it, I fianlly got laser hair removal on my legs about 5-6 years ago. I LOVE IT! I have a few spots that are starting to grow in now, but it is not like before, and I plan on getting some touch ups. Currently I am getting laser on underarms and bikini, just had my first tx. I have noticed that the older I get the worse the hair was getting, so I had to do something about it. Hope this helps! Good luck!
