Hi all,
We're recently sort of trying for #3. "Sort of" meaning not using birth control, but I'm not getting my hopes up because I don't ovulate. I DID ovulate spontaneously for our first child, after almost 2 years of being off the Pill -- so I know it's possible!! Then we did Met/Clomid/Injections for our second child.
But I'm wondering how/when I may ovulate again... if I will again. Just curious how often or not you other thin cysters ovulate naturally. I'm emotionally not up for doing treatments again, so we're waiting on mother nature and God for this one!

Yeah, originally about every 3-4 months, then after I had kids about every 35-40 days and then on met every 35 days or so (and i get pregnant exactly 3-4 months after I start back on met all three times... never gotten pregnant without it) | |

Nope... Af does not necessarily equal O. You can have anovulatory bleeding. Charting can tell you if you are ovulating or not. Read Taking Charge of Your Fertility. | |

i chart my cycles and here are the results i have gotten so far:
Nov 06: O on cd23, 10 day LP (pretty short)
Dec 06: O on cd21, 10 day LP
Jan 07: Clomid cd5-9, NO O, 54 day cycle
Mar 07: O on cd11, BFP on cd22, m/c @ 5w5d
Apr 07: O on cd34, 10 day LP
May 07: NO O, 54 day cycle
Jul 07: NO O yet, i'm on cd32

Approximately I get af every 45 days (usually between 32-60) - I ovulate almost every cycle according to my bbt. Luteal phase is between 8-14 days, average being 12 days (in let's say 70% of my cycles).

On metformin-every 34/35 days like clockwork. But before I went on metformin, they tracked me for three months and found that I positively ovulated every 35-38 days but with low progesterone-but it WAS ovulation. So they wouldn't EXACTLY say that it was anovulatory.
I'm convinced acupunture helped get my cycle on track, but the Metformin tottally got me pregnant.

nonmedicated-I ovulate about every 3 months. Sometimes sooner, sometimes longer. And I know I ovulate from my body "signs" and charting. | |
