I'm 25 and just found out 2 months ago. I'm still struggling to accept it but have hope that it'll get easier once I know more.

When I was 15 I was told that I probably had PCOS, but not much was done about it, I was just given BCP. I'm 23 now and was just recently officially diagnosed.

I had just turned 27 and dh and I were ttc. The sad thing is that I had been seeing a different ob/gyn and she knew something was wrong with me but never figured it out. She sent me for cat scans to check my pituitary gland but never went further with it. And even sadder is that she is a "fertility specialist"!!

Smile 25

I was diagnosed at 25 and I am 31 now, and I think that it is normal to feel the way you feel. I was crushed until I learned more information about the disorder. The more you know the more powerful you feel but I think that I have had it since my teens since I never had a "normal" period. So it is actually really good that you were diagnosed now, at least you can start making steps towards getting things under control. Good Luck

I was 25, nearly 26 when I got the dx. But in retrospect, it should have been noticed MUCH earlier!

I was thirteen when I was diagnosed. They told me I had PCOS and that they would have to operate to remove a cyst on the same day. Quite the bombshell, eh?

I'm fifteen now. I can't believe I've been diagnosed for almost two years now. While it's sort of disturbing to know that something is wrong with you, it almost comes as a relief because I know now that I'm not a freak.

I was 16 when I was diagnosed. The dr. that I was seeing at the time very nonchalontly told me to never expect to have kids easily. It broke my heart.

I'm 22 now and still dealing with that!!
