How old were you when you got your period? I'm curious when others started their period. I was only 9 years old and I had very heavy periods early on. I remember my mother pleading with my pediatrician about my periods being so heavy. My doctor just told her that it was "normal" when you first started your period. My mother knew better. She knew it wasn't right.

I was 13. It was the very last day of 8th grade. My little sis who doesn't have pcos started 2 weeks before me, and she was only 11.
