Smile How's this for intervention?

A lot of you will remember that hubby and I don't agree on churches. I go to the Episcopal Church (and I take Dominici - shhhh....). I refuse to go back to hubby's church, because it's the same type of church that blamed me after Rivi died, saying that he would have lived if I'd had more faith. Yes, hubby believed that, too. At any rate, hubby usually works Sundays, so I've been able to avoid the issue for the most part.

Neither of us will budge. I want Dominici baptized in the Episcopal Church, and hubby refuses. Hubby refuses to even go to ONE service at my church. He says it's not a "real" church because it's too formal and relies on tradition for a large part of the service. I argue that tradition is a GOOD thing - it helps to know what comes next, but he doesn't get it.

Anyway, MIL called today (yes, THAT MIL, who also blamed me after Rivi died and has been totally evil since) and told me that she'd found a school for Dominici to go to. Well, Dominici's 6 months old, and I think I'VE already found his school, but I decided to humor her...guess what type of school it is? It's an EPISCOPAL school! LOL!

So, I told hubby that his Mom thinks Dominici should go to an Episcopal school, and he refused to believe me. After he called her tonight, he refused to discuss it any further.

But, MIL is kind of on my side, for once. And hubby listens to her (more often than I think a grown man should, frankly). So I think this might open a door at some point.

You've got to love the way God works these things out!
