Points: 31,446.21 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 31,446.21 | hmmmm, for me it was weird. I had a dnc...(a dustin' and a cleanin')...LOL..so I didn't bleed very much at all. Then, I didn't get af for 7 long ass months! Excuse my language! Thought for sure something went terribly wrong, but in the end...after much thought and reflection...I think I stressed myself into such a tizzy that af stayed away until I chilled out a bit (which oddly enough coincided with a visit to the RE when he told me that "this we can fix"...hmmmm, coincidence???).....so I am not the one to ask..but for vaginal delivery per se..I bled for a looooooooooong time!

That surprised me because my cycles have been long. Sometimes a pregnancy can help, sometimes it makes things crazier.
Best wishes. ((Hugs))

Points: 20,154.26 Bank: 33,353.17 Total Points: 53,507.43 | For me, I spotted for about a week or so before I m/c (we already knew the baby had stopped developing though), then after the m/c, I bleed heavy for a couple days, and light for the rest of that week. After a few days of spotting, the bleeding stopped altogether. The following week, I started bcp, and af came the 4th week of those, just like it should have. It was a normal af from what I can remember. Maybe a few days longer than usual, but not too long or too heavy.
I'm so sorry for your loss...

My Mood: Points: 8,180.80 Bank: 0.02 Total Points: 8,180.81 | After i delivered my son at 20 weeks, I had two weeks of mucousy bloody discharge. It was very traumatic for me, as it reminded me of my son. Then I had a week of almost being normal, but with a lot of mucous everytime i had a BM. Then by the fourth week...Aunt flo showed up, but it was a different consistency....like a crimson color. That first one, after everything, was pretty light. I did not have a D&C.
Now...oh my!!! i get a full flow!! I never had that before i was pregnant.

Points: 918.00 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 918.00 | well for me, I didn't bleed as much as I expected...
Tuesday-Thursday: light spotting
Friday: heavier spotting
(November 19) Saturday: miscarriage - heavier bleeding
Sunday: light bleeding
Monday: light bleeding
Tuesday-Saturday: very light spotting, only noticed when wiping with TP in toilet....
I spoke to my midwife and she said to classify my period as being the first day of my miscarriage, through to the Monday.... I ovulated on the Sunday (day after my spotting stopped) and then got my period again on CD30... so a fairly normal cycle for me..... I am picking that is becuase I was only 5w4d when I m/c
