I am on Met XR and my doc said I could increase to 1,500 a day. I was taking 2 pills at night, can I take all three at night? Does anyone else do that?

i take all of mine at night. granted i only take 1000mg (2 pills) but my RE said that there is no reason not to take all of xr dose at once, since it is extended release, thus releases slower in the body. so i think taking it all at once is best. hth

I take both of mine at the same time. I was told to take them with my biggest meal of the day. (Which is my supper)

I'm on 2000mg per day and I take both 1,000mg tablets at once with dinner.
