I'm average. 5'5'' and 135lbs. I'm also IR. I count calories, limit simple carbs, and exercise. It's tough. I'm the first female in my family (going all the way up to my great-grandmother) to not be obese.

5'4" 130 (have lost 15lb and am trying to loose a little more so that my clothes fit again!)

I'm just trying to eat balanced meals (a Chipotle burrito is a balanced meal...proteins and carbs!!) I have also been trying to eat my meals on a salad plate instead of a dinner plate. I'm also trying to be more active thru-out the day.

I am 5'5 and weigh 108. I CRAVE carbs and am working really really hard to try the IR diet, but it is sooooo difficult for me. I made a deal with my husband to try to only eat sweets 3 times a week, but that is sooo hard and I have already totally failed on that! How do you all do it??

5'4" and 129, although I was 113 before I got pregnant and trying to get back below 120 -- it seemed I would get my periods regularly below 120, although I'm also BFing, so I may be stuck at this weight for a spell.

I've also been told to go on a low carb diet. As my Aunt put it, low carbs for an Irishwoman is a fate worse than death!

I'm 5'7" and weigh around 145 (without clothes probably 143 or so). I've lost 5-7 pounds since starting treatment in October. My clothes fit looser! Yay! I have around a 30" waistline.

Technically this is a healthy BMI. However, I did experience a lot of weight gain (for me) in the year before I started doing something about the PCOS.

I'm 5'9" and weigh between 120-130 lbs and have for all my adult life. I've always been thin. When I was on Met I lost weight - went down to about 110 lbs and was not happy about it. Now I've been off for about 5 months and have gained it all back plus some.

I'm 5'3" and I weigh between 127 and 130 (depends on time of month). I figure I'm a thin cyster because I'm not overweight or obese.

I'm 5'6" and 120lbs. Used to be even thinner (110lbs) before I think I started seeing symptoms of PCOS (irregular cycle). Went on the Yasmin for 2 years to regulate my cycle. When I came off the pill I did not get AF at all naturally. So I was finally just recently diagnosed with PCOS. Started 1000mg of Metformin yesterday. Hoping to get AF back, but also hope I don't lose too much weight.

i'm 5'9", 130 lbs. my cycles have always been super-long, and i've been on bc (yasmin) for so long that i probably haven't ovulated in years. not that i would if i were off the pill...

My weight fluctuates seasonally and due to the amount of exercise i get. i like to run, and when i'm training for a race or discovering a new favorite activity, i dip five or so pounds lower.

I wouldn't say i have a fast metabolism, but i eat much, much more than the average person, so exercise keeps me in check. i am powerless before chocolate, most baked goods, and anything fried or carb-y. A doctor tried to put me on a low-carb diet while i was at college to manage PCOS symptoms (mostly hirsutism) but i caved after the first three days. i haven't the willpower...and it was too tough for me with all the exercise.
