My Mood: Points: 679.75 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 679.75 | Hi All,
After reading your posts, the majority of you are not "thin" your jusr normal.
Im 5'5" and 105 pounds, thats a low bmi Ive been like that my whole life and have never been able to put on weight. I eat anything and everything, yet I still have pcos, just like the rest of you. Ive been on met for about 4 weeks, to firstly bring on my periods, then hopefully get pregnant. Nothing as yet, so Im looking to up my intake until something happens.... its just so frustrating waiting!! Im on 1000mg a day at the moment and counting.... |

My Mood: Points: 4,239.71 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 4,239.71 | I barely qualify as a "thin" cyster, 135lbs at 5'2." Will you still take me? I don't think any sane person would call me "thin," but I am in the "normal" BMI category. I would like to get down to 118-122, which I was for about 2 years from 2002-2004. After that I gained 10-15 lbs, then could never lose it (I didn't try though, really.) I hope losing 10-15 lbs will help with my pcos treatment even though I'm not really overweight. I think if left to its own devices, my pcos might have caused a bigger weight gain over the next few years, I'm glad I will have it under control with the help of my doc. |

There are plenty of thin women with PCOS, it's just not talked about. I am 5'5 and weigh 104. Yet, have every single characteristic of PCOS except obviously the obesity. I hope your doctor doesn't dismiss your issues just because you're thin. |
