By Collette Harris? That's the one! She wrote another book as well, called PCOS: A Woman's Guide to Dealing with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. I found it very helpful too.

I am about 5'3" and my weight has been varying between 132-138 or so. But if I'm not careful, I can gain 20lbs or more real easy and have a hard time getting it back off. I can't say I stay away from carbs, my lunch consists of a bowl of cereal. And I'm not a big meat eater. I eat chicken a lot, but as for red meats I only eat if I have to. I just try to watch how much I eat since I eat the 'bad' foods. My favs. are cereal and pasta .

I second the collette harris books. I'm reading PCOS and your fertility. I just recommended the diet book in another thread. They make it very understandable and give clear action plans! LOVE THAT!

I'm 5' 5'' and weigh 105 pounds.
I'm so excited about this forum - so much of the advice seems to be tailored towards overweight women. Lose 10 pounds? You've got to be joking!

I would consider myself to be a "thin cyster." I am 5'7 and only 118 lbs.

I am like some of y'all, I couldn't afford to loose 10 lbs. Gain it YES!!!!

I refer to myself as the walking stick!

I am 5'8" 118 lbs. Glad to know I'm not alone as a "thin cyster".
I was diagnosed Feb 7, 2006.
