Just curious to know if you Dr. has put you on Metformin? After reading such good things, I asked to to be put on it. I too don't test for IR but my ovaries tell a different story. I am hoping the Met will help me ovulate. We are scheduled for IVF but I am hoping that the Met is helping me and that maybe with a miracle I will ovulate next month on my own. I am so sorry that TTC #1 has been such a difficult road for you. We have one and she was easy. I think this PCO stuff really came full force when I hit thirty. Just curious if you suffer from migraines?

Nikiep: I am not on met but after hearing some positive feedback from some of the other ladies on this board, I think I will ask my RE about. I kinda think that if he felt it was right for me that I would already be on it, but I would really like to hear his thoughts on it anyway.

I don't have miagraines but I do have sinus headaches often.

I was dx about 2 years ago with PCOS, but I spent so many years on BCP that I never had any irregularties with my cycle until going off of them. I had no other outward signs of PCOS so I never knew I had it. I was lucky to get hooked up with a RE fairly quickly after I started having difficulty with my cycle.

Anyway, good luck with the met. I am going to look into it too.

Im 5'3 and 115lbs..... I was 180lbs in Dec 2005 and managed to take it off 100% naturally. I am still heavier than what i would like my goal is 110lbs.
