| Hi, I'm 5'6" and weigh between 125 & 130 depending on my cycle. The most I've ever weighed was 137 and that was after several cycles of inj meds, when I blew up like a blimp. I was diagnosed in '94 after 10+ years of symptoms. I had a hard time getting a dx because I didn't fit the "typical" pcos description. I find that Actos & low carbing really help my symptoms. Loosing weight is NOT an option, as I wear size 4 as it is and already have a hard time finding clothes that fit.

| HI. New to soulcysters. I'm not sure if I'm a thincyster. I consider myself "normal". I'm 5'4" and currently 130lbs. I was heavy as a child. Now my weight fluctuates in the 130-140 range. My BMI is always in the high end of healthy. I'm considering a low carb diet. I've always been hooked on carbs. Will be TTC in the future - end of this year - getting really anxious. Was diagnosed at age 16 - told at that age I may/may not be able to have children. |

| A little late coming into this, but...I consider myself a "thin cyster", or at least trying to get back there. I am 5'2" and currently weight around 150. I know this is not "thin", but until a few years ago I was always around 125. I was put on heavy steroids for an eye disease a few years ago and not too long after that did 6 rounds of clomid. I really packed on the pounds with all of that and am really struggling to get back to my "normal" weight. Hope to be back there soon, but it sure has been hard.

| I'm a thin cyster too. 5'1", 107-ish lbs. I'd like to be a bit lighter, but am currently breastfeeding my almost 6 month old DS, so don't really want to lose any more weight right now. I've never had weight problems and also had problems getting a dx b/c I don't fit the PCOS sterotype. I was on Metformin 2,000 mg while TTC, but stopped when I got my BFP and haven't started again while bf'ing.

| I'm 5'5 and 105lbs and diagnosed with PCOS. Just started met and take 500mg met per day, will increase next two weeks. I have had side effects such as feeling weak and first day diarrhea, now I am a bit okay. I am trying to conceive my first, hopefully this works. |

| I am 5'3 and about 115 punds so I guess and average weight...I sometimes range from 110 to 116. Lately, I have been craving more carbs then usual and its seems I have been closer to the 115 end of it. I have never been overweight and cotninue to hvae problems with blood sugar, IR, blood pressure and high cholesterol. I am very active and try to limit sweets and carbs, but I crave them so bad!!!!!!!!! I am new to the message board thing and to talking with other women who experience the same crazy things as me with PCOS any thoughts or advise would be reassuring!! |

| I, too, love and crave carbs. I generally have potatoes (my biggest love/enemy) about twice a week, but I watch how I cook it, what I add to it and how much I eat of it. Seems to help with the cravings, but don't feeling like I am completely denying myself either. Make sense?
Thanks for the welcome Amanda.

| I constantky eat carbs, seems like with every meal. But that doesn't seem to add any weight to me.

| I'm 5'4" and weigh 108. I run 3-4 times a week and practice yoga a couple times a week too.
I don't want to lose weight, but I really feel as if I need to control my sugar/carb intake, for future-fertility and vanity reasons (skin and hair). It's really hard being a thin cyster, because I feel like most PCOS-related advice focuses on losing weight/exercise. |
