I am 5'7" and when I started Met in May I was 136 lbs. I have definately dropped around 10 + pounds since starting met and have dropped 2 pant sizes..which I HATE because I really am too cheap to buy new clothes because I'm hoping I'll be buying maternity clothes soon.

Hi Sorry to go off track a little but I've been reading this thread and notice alot of you refer to loosing weight on Met. I am 5'8" and weigh 122 and have just been prescribed a 3 month course of Met and Clomid but I don't want to lose weight...is it enevatable?? I am not IR. Has anyone taken it and remained the same or did you lose weight because you were sick? If anyone has any experience I would grately apprecaite it..thank you.

5'3 and 128lbs. I would love to be down to my pre-baby weight of 117... i am more than halfway there. I was 148 at birth...!!!

Pinkfish~ Hi, I didnt lose any weight when i was on Met before getting pregnant. But i was sick a lot, but it did nto effect my weight... hopefully your treatment works...

I am 5'4 and currently at 110 pounds although my weight tends to fluctuate between 110 and 120. The most I ever weighed was 125 which is another reason I went to the doctor to get it checked out. I jumped to this weight from 110, even though I worked out everyday and had a physically demanding outdoor theatre job. I still have stretch marks on my hips and waist where most of the extra weight goes to. When I was on met I went down to 107 pounds.

I think people also tend to lose weight on met (apart form being sick) is because it decreases your apetite. At least that is what happened to me and I forgot to eat all day.

I'm a thin cyster. 6' tall and 155 - I'm prego now and haven't gained any wait, (only 1 lb, but I'm only 10 wks right now) but my body is definitely thicker in the waist line now. Last year, I had started putting on weight out of nowhere. I had usually been around 170 (still in the 'normal' weight range for my height) ... well, last year I got up to 189 and then I started a diet and metformin. I lost 30 lbs in 3 months. I am now at the bottom low range of my weight scale where I usually was.
