Question How trustworthy are my labresults if tested after cd 3? Do hormone levels rise fast?

Hello cysters!

I couldn't find anything on this subject so I'm not sure if it's ever been asked before but does anybody know how quick hormone levels can rise after day 3? I know that bloodwork is most often done on day 3 and I can find a lot of information on what is considered normal for that test day, but my bloodwork was taken on day 7 or something, and when I see my endo this tuesday it won't be on day 3 either.

So should I imagine my levels were likely to be a little bit lower on day 3 or doesn't it make a difference at all? I know that I didn't ovulate in the weeks following the day they tested my blood so does that mean my levels didn't go up or down like in a 'regular' cycle but that they remained in a folliculair fase? It's so confusing!

I hope someone can answer these questions because I'm feeling like I'm not sure how much trust I should place in the results of my bloodwork if they are just testing randomly..

Thank you for reading and hopefully replying!

My Gyno didn't send me for testing on CD3 either, it was totally random. I am also wondering the same thing.
