Can progesterone cream aid in ovulation? What days and how much do I use it if I'm not positive that I'm ovulating and, if I am ovulating, it's very late in my cycle (day 25 or later)?

Well you should use the cream after ovualtion. Use 1/4 tsp night and day for 2 weeks. Do you always ovulate around day 25? If so, start the cream the day ovulation is confirmed. Do you chart your temps? If not, you should because you can't confirm ovulation without that. Some women will start to use the cream around day 21 if ovulation hasn't happened yet - thats up to you though. Go to these websites:

These sites are very helpful. I have been using the cream for about 3 months and I believe I have ovulated for the first time! It was CD58 but, at least its something. Since I have irregular cycles I followed a 2 week on 2 week off pattern which mimicks a 28 day cycle. I did not complete the full 2 weeks off before I ovulated so, after I confirmed the ovulation with my temps I started using the cream again to hopefully lengthen my lutueal phase which raises your chances of concieving. The cream is supposed to work really well for lengthening the lutueal phase. Well, hope this helps you out! Good luck!
